the bottom line: we're seeking active, mature and descriptive roleplayers who aren't going to get bored after two weeks. even if we only have a handful of active characters, staged is going nowhere! our rules are pretty basic, but please read through them before you apply.
• we're your standard, non-kayfabe wrestling community. all existing storylines must be respected by members of the game, and ic and ooc are to be kept entirely separate. in game drama is fantastic, but let's make sure we keep it in game.
• journal activity: post in the sub-communities as often as you like. comment your little hearts out. please make sure your character has one substantial update in their journal at least every six weeks. we at staged think that updates are not only super fun and creative to write, but they're essential to character development. if you hit six weeks you may be removed, and if someone else applies for your role you may be overridden. warning lists will be posted regularly.
• scening: it's entirely up to you how you decide to have your character interact with others. however please don't join unless you're prepared to talk to people outside of your social circle- it's much more fun when everyone talks to everyone else. whether your threads are done on aim or through locked posts in journals is your business. please provide us with a contact post and/or aim name when you apply so that your character is accessible to all members of the game.
• we want staged to be an openminded, tolerant gaming environment. realistic 'darker' storylines are more than welcome. slash for example, is fine. a diva being pregnant and taking bumps every week on tv? not so fine.
• ooc posts can be made in oocstaged. if you need a hiatus or have an issue for the mods, please contact us through the drop box post in ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) stagedmod.
• please place a disclaimer on your userinfo- anything to let people know you're not real.
• we do ask for a writing example when you apply. this is just to make sure that we feel that you'd fit in with the rest of the community. if you already play a character here, further examples are not needed if you apply as an additional character. there is no character limit at this time. if we feel that this rule is not working out, we reserve the right to change it.
